***Breaking News for E7-4 VISA***

Starting from Mar. 1, 2019, E7-1 VISA Quota will be increased 600 to 1,000 to solve the chronic manpower shortage of Small Medium Companies such as a root industry etc.

1. General E7-4 VISA Quota: Current 400 to 500 (100 Increase)

2. Higher Score (More than 75 points) and Excellent Korean Employment Company: Same as before (100 each)

**3. Industries which are difficult to search Employment (3D Industries):
New Establishment (**300 Persons)→Required Recommendation Letter from Ministry of Employment and Labor (200 Persons), Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Livestock (50 Persons), and Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (50 Persons).

**Detailed guidelines for industries which are difficult to search Employment have not been released yet.

**4. Expansion of Allowable Number of Foreign Workers in Root Industry:

(1) Number of Korean Employment is 5~9, number of E7-4 VISA may be allowed for 1 person;

(2) Number of Korean Employment is 10~29, number of E7-4 VISA may be allowed for 2 persons;

(3) Number of Korean Employment is 30~49, number of E7-4 VISA may be allowed for 3 persons;

(4) Number of Korean Employment is 50~99, number of E7-4 VISA may be allowed for 4 persons;

(5) Number of Korean Employment is over 100, number of E7-4 VISA may be allowed for 5 persons.
